Every wedding is unique, but some linger in your memory long after the day is over. Laura and Jack’s wedding at The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island was exactly that. It was a celebration filled with elegance, joy, and timeless moments. The stunning backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, paired with carefully curated details and heartfelt celebrations, made their day feel like a dream come true.

As a luxury wedding photographer, I’ve had the honor of capturing love stories in stunning venues across the country. The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island remains one of my favorites for its coastal charm, refined spaces, and world-class service. This venue effortlessly balances sophistication with the natural beauty of its surroundings. Laura and Jack’s celebration was a perfect reflection of this. Their wedding combined classic elegance with personal touches that made every moment uniquely theirs.

Getting Ready

The morning of Laura and Jack’s wedding at Ritz Carlton Amelia Island was calm yet filled with excitement. Laura got ready in a light-filled suite, surrounded by her closest family and friends. The energy in the room was warm and supportive as her girls helped her into her stunning bridal gown. The timeless design of her dress, paired with pearl-accented details, added a touch of classic elegance that perfectly suited her style.

Meanwhile, Jack and his groomsmen prepared offsite (but nearby). The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter as they shared jokes and words of encouragement. These moments of connection between Jack and his friends highlighted the joy and anticipation building for the day ahead.

One of my favorite moments was capturing Laura as she gazed out over the ocean. The sunlight streaming through her suite window illuminated her gown’s intricate details, creating a serene and reflective moment. It was a beautiful contrast to the energy of the day, offering Laura a quiet pause before the festivities began.

The First Look

Laura and Jack chose to share an emotional first look in the gorgeous light-filled hallway of the Ritz Carlton (right on the main floor). As Jack turned to see his bride for the first time, his expression of awe perfectly mirrored Laura’s radiant smile. It was a heartfelt and intimate moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.

The hallway provided the perfect backdrop for this private moment, with soft natural light highlighting every detail. Laura’s elegant gown, Jack’s emotional reaction, and the connection they shared made this one of the most memorable parts of their wedding at The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island. Their laughter, tears, and quiet embrace captured the depth of their love.

This special time together before the ceremony also gave Laura and Jack a chance to connect and savor the significance of the day. It’s always such an honor to witness and capture these private moments, where couples can truly be themselves.

A Ceremony by the Water

Laura and Jack’s ceremony took place in the breathtaking Courtyard at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. Surrounded by lush palm trees and manicured gardens, this serene space offered an elegant yet intimate atmosphere. The Courtyard’s proximity to the dune-lined coastline and the Atlantic Ocean added to the overall sense of tranquility and romance.

The couple exchanged vows framed by a stunning, ground-level floral arch. This unique design added a modern touch, beautifully complementing the natural beauty of the venue. The arrangement of lush greenery and white blooms provided the perfect setting for Laura and Jack’s heartfelt ceremony.

Guests were seated in rows of classic white chairs, creating a clean and sophisticated aesthetic. As Laura and Jack shared their vows, there wasn’t a dry eye among their family and friends. Reception: A Night to Remember

Laura and Jack’s reception was held in the ballroom at The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an inviting yet luxurious atmosphere. The Decor

The decor at Laura and Jack’s wedding at The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island was breathtaking. The ballroom was elevated with a mix of tall and low floral centerpieces featuring lush greenery and white blooms. These arrangements perfectly complemented the neutral tones of the space, creating a cohesive and timeless aesthetic.

Sneaking Away for a Private Moment

As the evening progressed, Laura and Jack stepped outside for golden hour portraits. The dunes and ocean created a breathtaking backdrop, with the soft, golden light of sunset adding a romantic glow. These photos became some of my favorites from the day.

During this time, Laura made a chic outfit change. She returned to the reception in a shorter dress, perfect for dancing the night away!
